The Window takes place in a low-income area of a city surrounded by poverty, drugs, and misfortune. Diamond Jefferson a young girl who is an honor roll student that has dreams of attending Michigan State University next year. Diamond wants to be an Astrophysicist. She loves the study of stars, the moon, the galaxy, and the planets. So one year for Christmas, her mom saves up enough money to buy her a telescope, not knowing that this would be the biggest mistake of her and her family’s life.
