Jesus Redeems: Lenten Devotional

The season of Lent helps prepare us to celebrate Easter, the greatest Christian holiday. We begin by marking our foreheads on Ash Wednesday, a practice that reminds us of our frailty and mortality. From dust we have come, and to dust we shall return. Then we spend the next forty days (we don’t count Sundays) plunging into the true ministry Christ gives his people. We sacrifice or fast, not to prove ourselves, or make ourselves worthy, but because he has sacrificed for us. The season ends with Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and finally Easter Sunday, the greatest day. Hallelujah, Christ has risen! This devotional booklet will help guide you.
