The Pavers

Georgia Lee Scott has spent most of her adult life in the historic town of St. Charles, Missouri, following the safe, traditional path she thought she was always meant to pursue. After all, life was just a mindless game of checking off boxes, and then you die.

Until she did.

To her horror, she finds herself in the hospital with no memory of what happened to her or the last three years she spent at her alleged place of employment. Even more puzzling are the memories she does have…when she was supposed to be dead. Now, she’s forced to break free from her past, but nothing could prepare her for the hidden network of people and powers she’ll discover as she learns more about who…or what she’s becoming.

With the help of a dangerous looking ex-Marine and a mysterious young boy, she will get to the bottom of what happened to her. Together, they are bound to find the paved path that ultimately leads to their destiny.
