This book, and most of its contents, was originally published in 2018 in both hard-cover and paperback editions. Because the photo quality did not meet the author’s desires, she tirelessly worked to enhance the photos and re-issue an enhanced version. The enhanced hard-cover version was released about a month ago, and currently that book is priced at $35. Wildlife enthusiasts would want that edition for the coffee table. For the more cost-conscious reader, this paperback version is also available. The old versions have been discontinued. .
Susan Lindsley’s fifteenth published work puts her photographic skills on display. Her previous books have included Southern-heritage novels, biographies, family histories, books on hunting – and now she displays her love for wildlife by pointing her camera. Renown wildlife photographer Duncan Dobie calls Lindsley’s location a one-in-a-million spot under her magical persimmon trees to get good pictures. Includes more than 200 photographs.
