Renting Superman

In my years, decades of writing, I have tried to bring out in my work a wider experience of gay men, often both emasculated and over-sexualized within popular culture and their own community. I toil to include a realness in my poetry that is recognized by a wide audience as not just the experience of gay men, but of the human condition in general. Yet these poems, prose and verse alike, are easily identifiable by fellow gays as stories that are important in their laying bare of understanding and connection.
