The Word Wizard is a 28-page children’s picture book that will help children learn to understand how letters make up words. The book uses color and font size changes to highlight the words that are changed by the wizard who creates mischief for a boy one day. The color illustrations draw the reader in to find the wizard hat hidden in the illustrations and the introduction of the friendly dog early in the story gives the boy a happy companion during his troubles. The book introduces conflict that is resolved at the end when the boy takes matters into his own hands.
