Over 167 pages of thoughtful quotes and illustration by Lorin Morgan-Richards made under the pseudonym Marcil d'Hirson Garron. Richards quotes are inspiring, visionary, and reflective of life. The artwork, unlike Richards cartooning, he names Imperfectualism, art that cannot be easily replicated by machine. An imperfectualist looks to slow automation through their art. Imperfectualism is influenced by Surrealism but also resists the 21st Century’s increased technology and controls. Richards states the drawings were partly made in the same method of automatic drawing or pyschic art of the Surrealists where conscious control is suppressed. Imperfectualism is a perfect companion for Richards previously published poetry and illustrated book entitled: Dark Letter Days: Collected Works (2016).
