Surviving dozens of enemies and adjusting to his new boss, the goddess Freja, is just the beginning. If hiding from a vengeful psychotic Valkyrie is hard, it's nothing compared to evading the head of all Valkyrie. The goddess Freja not only leads the Disir and the Valkyrie, she also gets first pick of half the warriors chosen in battle. So when Freja chooses Magnus anew, he has little choice but to answer her summons.

Answering that call means putting himself amongst enemies that took centuries to make, as well as Kara the tempestuous Valkyrie, his ex-lover. That's not to mention a powerful God with a grudge, and a whole new set of rules to follow and expectations to meet. Folkvang isn't exactly like Valhalla and that's going to take some adjustment.
