The Treasure of Santa Catalina Island

It’s the summer of 1993. Die-hard Cubs fans MacKenzie Milles and her father John have come from Chicago to Catalina Island after John is asked to investigate a mysterious illness in the island buffalo herd. MacKenzie soon discovers she’s in the middle of her own island mysteries-legends of buried treasure, a mysterious man who no one but MacKenzie ever sees, and dolphins that chase after a boat where there is no boat. As MacKenzie explores the beauty and history of the island with her new best friend-life-long island resident Erik Roebling-the two new friends unexpectedly find themselves on an exciting and terrifying path that leads to an extraordinary adventure which will change their lives forever.
