It was conceived and composed by Rada Mitra in her pre-school classroom. The original notebook-and-photograph version proved popular with her classmates, so her parents decided to share it with other children. The illustrations, featuring interiors and exteriors on a fall/winter day, are lovingly drawn by Rada’s artist mother Tatiana Mitra, with Rada making some contributions as well.
It is the story of the adventures of a toy kitten who feels alone at home on a school day, and searches for its little mistress, reuniting at the end of the day. Children will love this beautifully illustrated book which sees the world through a child’s eyes.
