You are survivors of violence, illness, depression, addiction, sexism, racism, and micro-aggression. You are compassionate, loving, kind, and have crazy work ethic. You are strong for the world, but sometimes not for yourself. You are amazing and you are your worst critic. I could say so much more, but this book is meant to honor you for who you are: people-. living breathing, crying, feeling, bleeding human beings… who just happen to be doctors.
