Marta, a strong-willed and independent young college grad, finds peace and solace in the cleansing ocean waves off San Diego while waitressing to make ends meet. She befriends a homeless Iraq/Afghanistan War veteran, Cap, who agrees to watch over her surfboard every night in exchange for food and his morning coffee. Marta soon realizes Cap is much more than he seems.

When a major storm nearly takes Cap’s life, the two are forced to spend an evening together that changes everything. While Marta wants to save Cap from his inner ghosts and PTSD, Cap realizes he has to fix himself before he can be the man he knows she deserves. Will the Community of Marta be enough to save Cap and Marta, or will their love be tested to the point of no return?
