With a premise seemingly ripped from today’s headlines, this fast-paced novel explores what might happen if a group of citizens stand up to oppose government officials misusing their authority for their own gain. Though fiction, the events here are not hard to imagine happening. The tolerance that Americans seem to have for our corrosive income tax system is astonishing. The system is the foundation for crony capitalism, a major factor in the futility of our federal government to be a net positive force. Could the solution to this tax dilemma be startlingly obvious?
