Where I’m From

Five diverse children introduce the reader to brief facts about where he/she is from using maps, cultural details and family information. Readers will be invited to tell their own geographic family stories using the maps included with this book. Viviane shows the readers how much she loves her hair and why braids are special to her. Dawn thinks the way she says water is special and Reid’s family loves sports. Casey is from The Windy City and has her own multicultural background and Madhavi’s family still lives in Asia! Readers will celebrate the fact they we all have the best of both worlds.
