Reunion at Maple Springs: A Colin O'Brien Maple Springs Mystery

Maple Springs, a beauty spot on Lake Chautauqua, has proven to be a beauty retirement spot for Colin and Vonny O'Brien. The O'Briens have settled comfortably and are enjoying life at the lake with its beauty and serenity. Now it’s summer #5 in The Springs for the O'Briens and the whole clan, both sides, three generations, are to reunite on July 4th. It’s all Uncle Ray’s fault; the prodigal son has returned. Ray McGill has been away for too long. Now a retired cop from Baltimore who was blinded on the job, he has amends to make and apologies to render. Ray plans to be in The Springs all summer long right next door to the O'Briens. How much more complicated could summer #5 be? Within days of Ray’s arrival, a body washes ashore creating even more confusion within The Springs and also on the grounds at the venerable Chautauqua Institution which is a scant 2.2 miles across Lake Chautauqua.
