Cradle in the Rain

A young and brilliant lawyer, Richard Bridges runs into a former college friend, Seth Nathan, and is shocked to find him haggard, ravaged by the rashes gripping his skin. Seth was once good-natured and upright, known for his charisma. His small and sullen frame shows a different Seth, he’s become a different man. Overwhelmed with empathy and realizing the enormity of Seth’s condition, Richard embarks on a search for a cure for his friend. The medical community says his rashes are not contagious. So why have their small circle of friends also begun to develop rashes? One by one Richard watches them each brought to the brink of death. Is Seth a walking epidemic of rashes or is there a deeper cause of the plague? How can a lawyer with no medical knowledge find a cure for this and become Seth’s last hope? So he does the unthinkable.
