From sandlot baseball to a lettered career on the manicured diamonds of Central Michigan University, Bob's character was shaped by working-class parents, neighborhood chums, school classmates, and devoted mentors. His education leadership career of nearly 60 years left a legacy of mutual love and devotion between Bob and his students, staff, communities, and of course his family.
