Annaliese, Sound and True

In 1903, a young woman dares to challenge the loggers on every slope of Georgia’s forested mountains. Using America’s first sustainable forestry principles promoted by the German forester at George Vanderbilt’s Biltmore estate, she pushes forward this controversial approach to stop the timber holocaust sweeping through Appalachia. Meanwhile, she must save the life of her baby who was born with a dangerous birth defect and protect her son from a desperate logger.
