Annigan is a world of contrast and balance in wonderous orbit. One side, Lumina, basks in perpetual sunlight, and the other, Nocturn, is cast in constant darkness. Sentient creatures, terrestrial, marine or amphibious, share a hyper-fertility devoid of genetic boundaries, but not always peaceably. Millennia of feuds, ruthless ambition and individual hatreds forged a fragile peace, barely sustained under the rule of the Great Houses. When an ominous royal dispatch plunges a group of strangers into an insidious plot for global war, they uncover a murderous inhuman cult plotting to exterminate all mankind and battle a bewitched earth shaman unleashing a plague of insects threatening an entire continent. Ironically, the future of all Annigan rests in the hands of this group of reluctant adventurers, who must learn to become heroes to change the fate of tomorrow.
