Wesley Thomas Jr. also known as W.T. and WAT, is only twelve years old when his Mom tells him she sees him as a leader. He becomes very confused about this and wonders what or who he is a leader of, especially since he wasn't sure he wanted to even be one. The only thing he seemed sure about was wanting a cell phone for his thirteenth birthday, along with a cake that had six flavors. Peter Bugsbee never knew his dad and lived with his mom who was the vice principal at his school. He had been best friends with W.T. since the third grade. Now, in the eighth grade, Peter's life was going just fine until the arrival of Austin Maples. Austin Maples is learning to trust in God in ways he never thought possible, especially upon arriving to a new town, with a new school and friends. He was also still getting over his hurt from his own Mother who had left him and his Dad when he was in the first grade. But more and more he was feeling like the loser he was often referred to by Peter Bugsbee. As W.T., Peter and Austin's lives become connected, find out who the biggest loser really is.
