Romans is the most influential New Testament book in the history of Christian theology: it has shaped Christian theology, how the gospel is framed, and how the Christian life is understood. Preaching Romans for many pastors is the climactic text for a preaching career. There are perspectives (e.g., reformed, new, apocalyptic, participationist, among others) on Romans, but not all of them are known by most and too many of them not known at all.
