Stella Pelton kept a diary from 1958, when she was a 35-year old mother of four living in Ethan, South Dakota, through 1996, when she died of ovarian cancer at age 73, in Seattle, Washington. In this Part 2, Stella begins her adventures as a world traveler. She visits the Netherlands, Italy, Yugoslavia, Israel, Brazil, Ireland, Germany, and England, along with many cities in the United States. She also gets started on her role as a grandmother to 7 lucky grandchildren, who love spending time with her and getting spoiled. Stella retires after working for 20 years in the airline industry and then devotes more time to serving others in her church. In 1991, she learns that she has ovarian cancer, and undergoes several phases of chemotherapy. Stella passes away in 1996 at the age of 73, after having spent her life making the world a better place.
