Ruth Norland Cline was born March 10, 1929 in her family's farmhouse in Kensett, Iowa. She did her first painting in her 20's. She developed a love for painting and has loved painting in oil with a palette knife to this day. She is a cheerful and kind woman who loves to share creativity with others through a Pencils & Paints Class in Gainesville, Florida.
