Lorinda is the author of Jacob's Journey, published in 2019, a fictionalized story based on her family genealogy. She began her interest in writing poetry and brief stories at an early age. She is an active member of her local community Writer's Guild. Following 19 years of social work, Lorinda has semi-retired and now works as a para-professional in public education. Besides writing more, she spends quality time with her Twelve grandchildren. Her interactions with students and her grandchildren inspired this book.
