Several of the brave soldiers that fought in the War between the States (1861-1865) moved to Palm Beach County before it was formed (1909) and when it was just being settled and many ended up their days in what we call "Paradise". The Thomas McKean Camp, Florida Department, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War want to recognize their service and perpetuate their memory by putting together this book on their service as well as their final resting place.
