Chad Fisk is a 16-year-old and he is trying to juggle pressures of school, his first girlfriend, and making his parents happy. As the release of Body Count's 'Cop Killer' song is about to come out Chad finds himself with feelings of rebellion from his father who is a cop and the mostly white residents of his hometown. Chad also has a friend who may be taking the violent lyrics and rhetoric of gangsta rap too far. Chad aspires to be a man of change and integrity and the journey starts in his hometown.
