Williamina Wemyss was the oldest daughter of Earl James Wemyss of Bogie, Fifeshire, Scotland and Elizabeth Loch who were handfasted in 1701. Her sons were active in the American Revolution, and her daughter Williamina married William Moore, Judge and owner of Bull Tavern and Moore Hall. The mother of 10 children (1 died shortly after birth) she died in 1784, leaving all her property in Nova Scotia to Thomas William Moore, Capt. This volume covers all of her known descendants, including those in Nova Scotia; approximately 12 generations, which when indexed includes more than 8,000 individuals.
