Well, if any of you know me by any of my other works you'll know that is definitely not so. They also ask if my Greta was a real person. I say, 'take your pick from any one of the 50,000 Bosnian rape victims, that's male as well as female, you'll find a little of Greta Burgin in each one of them.' Then they ask if I know her personally. Again the answer must be no, not really, we were just as the saying goes, 'strangers passing in the night, ' a fleeting amorous dalliance, that and a lot of hard work and research, plus the horrifying realization that such a thing, another holocaust, could have happened, almost unnoticed, in my lifetime.'
