The first thing that the reader may notice about this memoir is its short chapters-on average, about 700 words. That is because, originally, each chapter was a blog post, and was submitted through the authors blog, one chapter (or post) at a time. As you might imagine, the author's concentration in writing this memoir was on what he could remember about his life all through the years. From his earliest memories, through high school, the military, college, his painting business, his marriage and divorce, his prayer ministry, his writing endeavors, to his retirement years, many interesting events and situations are recorded, of which every reader may identify with and enjoy. Though the focus of the writing is on the remembrance of events as they happened, the reader will also notice a theme running through the pages: that the author's life was under God's watchful eye, keeping him safe from evil and constantly providing him comfort, peace and hope.
