The honeymoon with Jesus was very short-lived though; being differently viewed by his family for his religious beliefs, his life soon became a living hell. The resulting emotional torment led to involvement in Satanism, as well as occultism, and finally several suicide attempts. There was also increasing drug use through the 1980’s. This led him to seriously rethink religious beliefs that had strongly been held for over a decade, leading to final liberation.
