Darcy is a teenage girl who flees from her country after losing her family. She travels to India and reaches Uttarakhand, the place commonly known as the land of God. The turn of events brings her to a point where she decides to stay back in India forever for which her identity gets changed and she gets Reborn as Ganga.

For 10 years despite having a good life, Darcy (now Ganga) has developed a strong fear of love and attachment. Despite having hope to have friends and live the life she never got to live, she keeps a distance from people.

After 10 years, her pain and fear overpower her mind one day. She starts to feel the need of sharing her long-time dumped pain with someone. That day she meets Kashi, a college girl who was on a trip and halted at Haridwar for a few hours. Their coincidental meeting led to the start of a new friendship.

Though being complete strangers, Ganga and Kashi bonded like sisters and finally, Ganga confides in Kashi.

Read the book Reborn on the land of God to know how Darcy became Ganga and fought with all the odds that life threw at her.
