The origin of The Twilight Zone can be traced to the pilot episode, witten by Rod Serling and entitled The Time Element, which aired in 1958. The folowing year the series got underway and ran for five seasons, 1959-64. Serling wrote over 90 episodes, and also served as executive producer and host/narrator. This book features all episodes, including cast and director credits, original air dates, story synopses, and nymerous photogrphs, many of which have never been seen before. The seies is still running constantly all over the world, 60 years after it originated.
