The Wonder of Encounters: A Collection of Short Stories

A collection of short stories written by an accomplished Chinese-American writer Minglu Zeng. This collection includes some award-winning works in their original Chinese version, one of which was adapted into the film Alice Agonistes. I have always felt that a writer’s mission is to effectively express the inherent quality of things and the broad sense of humanity. A work so created, I believe, can maintain its artistic appeal and be appreciated by any reader, regardless of his or her race, religion, language, culture, age, gender, or profession.
