Purple Angst is a story about friendship and the many trials one can endure with your best friend. Sidonia Goodman’s best friend, Brenda, is dying and there is nothing they can do about it. In Long Island the winter is bitter cold, but Sid doesn’t feel it. On January 14, 2011 Sid spends countless hours trying to stay strong for her best friend while struggling with her own life condition.
