The Champions of Woodwind Row

Twelve-year-old witch, Alaina Forestsong, dreams to be like her friends, the ones that have a Champion. She often forgets that to have a Champion, a witch has to meet death, and Alaina hasn’t quite been introduced to this horrible reality that overshadows Woodwind Row.

However, all that is about to change.

When Alaina finds out that her mother has been murdered, her world is turned upside down. It is revealed that Alaina is the one that has been marked for death, ever since she acquired a very special flute on her fifth birthday. As she embarks on an epic adventure with her friends and siblings, in the hopes of finding her mother’s killer, the truth will become Alaina’s worst enemy.
