Big Bear Cares is about a little boy who meets an enormous bear in the forest. They become friends as they search for ways to keep the forest green. The bear is saddened when he sees pollution, so he summons the boy to help him teach others to appreciate nature and keep the environment clean. Set in a beautiful forest, Big Bear Cares teaches valuable lessons about appreciating and caring for our land so it will not be destroyed by pollution. Melissa Schiffers-Stuart says writing books and helping others has been her lifelong dream. She finds inspiration, strength, and motivation from God and her family. Without them, I would be unable to accomplish all that I have. I am also a nurse and I love it just as much as writing. Both of my passions allow me to inspire, help, and teach others, which gives me a fulfillment that is beyond belief. This is her first book, but she plans on many more to come.
