Ages 9 to 13 years. Dr Martin Luther King, Jr was one of the most influential leaders in American history. After completing his studies as a young adult, he began leading Civil Rights marches and giving powerfully influential speeches to Americans such as his I Have a Dream speech. Martin’s hope was that all Americans would come together to work for freedom and equality. Through struggles and oppositions, Martin transformed his dream of equality into a law of equality and integration. Martin Luther King, Jr changed the course of history and the lives of millions of Americans, his influence is still felt today and he is forever regarded as an American hero.
