With the help of a kind nurse named Elaine who hands her husband Truck Driver Chuck Danielle\‘s letter, away he drives to search for Trucker Joe and Pugsley. Will he find them? Will Trucker Joe and his puppy Pugsley make the journey? Will they get there on time to make a sick little girl\’s wish come true? This story is an example of the true meaning of love and the value of life.
