So here you have it - the story of Doc Williams, recorded by one of his sons and two of his grandchildren. Our aunts, uncles, and cousins have other memories. This is not a polished biography, but we think it tells some true things. Doc emerges as a polymath - a man who could fix just about anything, welcomed new technology, hustled, adapted, loved dogs, and drove fast cars and speed boats. He married three times, kept a beautiful garden, played music, worshipped on Sunday, enjoyed the company of others, and dropped everything to answer a call for help. He was a man who gave much to his beloved community, Cannon Falls, Minnesota.
