Miss Cannoli was always a cute and loveable Shihtzu dog, She wakes up one day from a dream and finds herself in a beautiful grassland with a Rainbow Bridge in sight. She notices that she is different and that confuses her until she sees an old friend named Trevor- Larry coming from the other side with another dog. After an explanation of why they are there, she joins them and together they walk over the bridge. She quickly discovers that on this side all the animals enjoy themselves, laughing, playing and eating goodies every day. This is when Miss Cannoli has an idea for her friends to join her on an adventure but keeps it a secret for awhile. The plan was a little mischievous and because of this Miss Cannoli now earned a new reputation of being "The Little Scamp"
