This book consists of my childhood experiences living in a cloistered Jewish area, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. The community’s population was European Jewish survivors of the Holocaust. What I learned in Williamsburg is that it is indeed possible to replant and rebuild traditional Judaism in America.
