We are engaged in a culture war-but it's not the one you're thinking. Indeed, an active battle for our hearts and minds is playing out-from within our social media accounts to the broader global media outlets and the political and economic powers influencing them. But this is not the war; these are mere artifacts stemming from the deeper spiritual conflict raging since the days of Adam.

Today's whirlwind of cultural voices is in continual flux, insisting we find freedom from oppression, freedom from rules, freedom from pain, freedom from shame, freedom from discipline, and freedom from responsibility while not offering tangible solutions to achieve this utopia. Their cheap and easy fix is the dishonest demonization of groups outside their particular "bubble." And yes, we all are in our bubbles too. It's no wonder we've become angry and disillusioned, blown adrift with no guiding principles, no resolution, and no "free at last, free at last" moment. Why? Because often no consideration is given to anything beyond the limited potential of human effort. We are long due for a recalibration.

In this sequel to Two Cents, Linda goes to the heart of the issue, exposing many of our internal attitudes we must correct as we strengthen the relationship with ourselves, others, and most importantly, our Creator. Living counter to an untethered culture requires us to rise above the myriad voices of the day and trust the only dependable anchor. Only then can we be victorious when confronting today's battles, realizing they must first be waged at our own doorstep.
