Her hope is their parents read them too. When not writing books, Hemings and her dear friends, who happen to be talented investigative specialists, take on unusual cases. They work discreetly with the ABC agencies. Her specialists either walked away or were tossed overboard from their corporate gigs Not one of them fit in the corporate mode.
The common connection is Hemings. Fiercely loyal to each other. When called upon they work efficiently then return to the complexities of their personal lives.
Her latest book takes her and her friend John "Blu" Schwisher to sleepy Lancaster County, PA. It will give them the opportunity to visit a recently acquired property, catch up with their pal Paulie MacPhearson and reconnect with her roots. It's supposed to be an easy Autumn retreat.
This fast moving suspense novel deals with all too common concerns experienced by the sandwich generation complicated by the intrusion felonous behavior landing on their doorstep.
