Being in a prophecy isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.

Epic, who’s lived in the demon realm his entire life, was chosen to go to the human realm for a year. He meets Justin, who is welcoming, but a bit mysterious. He also meets Allen, who gets on his nerves. When Epic finds an embarrassing video about himself, he knows he’s in trouble. Can he delete it before his species is revealed to the humans? And is Justin as normal as he thinks he is?

Justin doesn’t think he’s special.

Justin Dorvis is an average kid. On Halloween, he sees a boy with horns flying outside. He’s not the only one who sees it either. The next day, a new student named Epic shows up at his school who also happens to have horns. Is it a coincidence? Join Justin on his journey as he learns more about Epic, discovers his strange abilities, and faces a hard truth about his friend Allen. Will he see it through to the end?

Allen thinks his actions are harmless.

Unfortunately, every action has consequences. When Allen meets Epic, he immediately gives him a nickname. He constantly teases Epic, or Horn Boy . Allen ends up revealing Epic’s species to the world, and now it’s up to him to make it right. Will he stay loyal, even when he’s tempted not to?

These three kids must set aside their differences and save Epic’s species before it’s too late. Epic, Justin, and Allen each has a part to play in this story. Will everything work out in the end? Or will it all go up in flames?
