An Ode to Us

This is a story of loving and healing of breaking and hurting, of the pains and sorrows and beautiful rebuilding that happens when one is in love. A story of passion. I share this with you so that when the time comes you are willing to open your heart to the wonder that love is. May you find peace in knowing that your remarkable experiences are only a result of your tender heart, even if that sweetness lays in the past… Never compromise your heart of gold.

I am delighted to share my story with you all, it has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. This is a composition of my thoughts, my feelings, written in poetry, verse, simple lines and rants, a brief look at a time in my teenage years that had a profound impact on who I am today. My book predominantly follows the ups and downs of a relationship. Please keep in mind that this is only the first part. The rest is yet to come. Please understand that I am sacrificing part of my story for my privacy, but I am just like you. I am a sister, a daughter, a friend, a lover. I am emotional and I cry and I beg and I scream and I stand back up. Growing up is hard, but it is beautiful. If you need someone to talk to, I can listen.
