The Fight is a work of historical fiction.

It’s the fifteenth century, and the Eastern Mediterranean is at war. The Turkish Empire is ascendant and advancing, the Italian city-states are on their heals. George Sphrantzes is exiled to Southern Greece, as advisor to the Roman Prince, Constantine the Eleventh. It’s a dead end assignment, to a backwater province in the decaying Roman Empire.
