REVELATION 21:19-20 ESV
The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
There are numerous references to gemstones in the bible, but most notable are said to be the stones in Aaron’s breastplate (Exodus 28: 15-20 and 39:10-13), the stones in the foundations of the wall of the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:18-21),
and the precious stones that were among the King of Tyre’s treasures (Ezekiel 28:13).
Each stone is special in its very own way, just as you and I are special in God’s eyes.
In this book, we will explore the precious gemstones found in the foundations of the wall of the New Jerusalem (also known as the wall of heaven), and a couple of chosen additions. I pray that God will guide your hearts and minds to receive His blessings. I hope this book will uplift, and inspire you as you have inspired me. Thank you for your prayers, love, and encouragement. Always remember, you are made in God’s image, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 KJV).
