Veteran gymnastics judge Miri Gherkin returns to a winter-weary Parkville in this sequel to The Code of Moons. After only a few weeks of helping her friends Sally Brucciani, Debby Sayer and Cindy Chung improve the unprofessional judging climate, a meet director is found dead under the balance beam. Miri must look beyond the obvious causes of death to suspect murder - and she realizes that the murderer could be one of the judges.
