She doesn’t use words, but she loves to listen, especially if you sing. Charlie Mae has epilepsy. Sometimes, she has seizures, but there’s no need for you to be afraid. Seizures feel like a lightning storm inside her brain. She might seem a little tired after, but she’ll get better soon. Charlie Mae was born this way, but she’s not so different from other kids.
