Miko is a mischievous boy who lives in a quaint village near a forest, and he loves to play pranks. He tips pots over and tickles the guard dogs, causing mayhem wherever he goes. He thinks his tricks are harmless, but his neighbors aren’t happy.
The village chieftains gather to discuss what can be done about Miko, but he won’t listen to reason. So the villagers decide to teach him lesson, and they force him to move a mile out of the village, into the forest, where he will live by himself. Even in the forest, he continues to try to play tricks on people. But when he encounters a girl named Riko traveling in the forest and tries to play a prank on her, he gets quite a scare of his own-and discovers new wisdom in the process.
In this children’s story, a prankster sent away from his village to live alone learns a valuable lesson about making choices and being kind.
